During the summer, I had the great privilege to be involved in the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, it was truly an experience that I will never forget. From the costume fittings to living in the Olympic village for over a week, making new friends and working with some amazing horses, it was really incredible.
Even thought we practiced daily with the horses and had a couple of trial runs, nothing compared to the real show, the noise and the atmosphere was unbelievable and the horses behaved really well. It took all of my skill and ability to ensure the horses stayed calm and did their job.
