As part of the Route du Poisson, we were joined by an ITV camera crew and Martin Clunes, famed recently for his staring role in the very popular BBC series Doc Martin. The crew joined us as they are currently making a documentary about Martin and his experiences and involvement with horses. Martin and his wife are very keen horse owners and both work very closely with the RSPCA and the British Horse Society, raising funds and creating promotional video’s for the RSPCA website.
I think he really enjoyed his time with us and definitely got in the spirit of the event. The photo below shows Martin helping me, Marigold and Obie with the boat pull. As you can see from the look of concentration on all our faces – four legged included, it was a very challenging event.
