As well as being great for the environment, our horses are also fantastic for public relations as they provide a strong talking point and photo opportunity. We’ve even captured the eyes of news outlets and been on national TV after being spotted in London Parks!

Logging
Using horse power for logging is becoming an increasingly popular for ways to manage woodlands due to the sustainability benefits.
Choosing horses over modern machinery, reduces soil impaction significantly, allowing the environment around where we are working to remain undisturbed.
Horses are also able to move around architecturally significant areas, being able to move under bridges or easily move around ancient woodland and wildflowers.
We are proud to be approved members and contractors of British horse logging.
Bracken rolling
Bracken is a very invasive species that overtakes wildflowers and other native plants.
By using horse powered techniques, we are able to work around heathlands, steep hillsides and conservation sites.
Our method involves us using a roller to “bruise” the stems, which over time weakens the plant and reduces it regrowing in the future.
Hay Making
We are delighted to share that we have received funding from the Surrey Hills Farming and Protected Landscape Scheme, enabling us to acquire a new baler. This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support of Surrey Hills Enterprises.
This essential and thrilling addition allows us to manage every aspect of haymaking, from start to finish, entirely with horse power. This commitment helps us work closely with our horses while remaining true to our sustainability values and minimising our environmental impact.
Land maintenance
We can tailor our services to whatever your land needs. After a site visit, we can advise how we can help maintain your land including, grass cutting, bracken rolling, logging and forestry management.
If there is a service that we don’t directly provide, we work alongside many other Horse powered contractors and we combine services when needed.
